Young Carer Video Competition
Eligibility
To be eligible to enter, you must be a registered Young Carer aged 5 – 25 years old with Carers SA.

How to Enter
- To enter, capture your Young Carer story using any artistic medium you prefer (photography, videography, pencils, paints, digital art, etc.) and compile it into a 30 second video format (mp4).
- Make sure your creation truly captures your Young Carer experience.
- Complete the entry form and upload your video submission below.
- The competition will run from 27th June 2024 – 31st August 2024.
- It’s open to all Young Carers registered with Carers SA aged 5 to 25 living in South Australia.
What are the guidelines for your entry:
Carers SA will select five videos from each Category that best meet the criteria outlined below:
- Represents the life of a Young Carer relevant to the age group of the category
- Level of originality of the proposal
- Relevance of the content
- Originality of the approach
- Leve of creativity
- The video file (mp4) must be submitted as a 30 second video, a maximum 50MB
Terms and Conditions
- Only one entry per person per category, additional submissions will not be considered.
- Entries to clearly state the title of the entry, category and your name and age.
- Entries must be submitted online no later than 11:59pm on Saturday 31st August 2024 to be considered.
- You may be required to sign a photo media consent form and if under 18 years of age, we would require your parent/guardian consent.
- Carers SA will share the selected videos or sections of the videos to their social media channels (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, YourVoice and other Carers SA platforms) to encourage interactions with the videos or to encourage Young Carer awareness.
- The competition winner for each category will be contacted by email by Carers SA on Thursday 26th September 2024.
