About Us
Carers SA is the peak body for Carers in South Australia and the lead Carer Gateway provider. Established in 1990, we support Carers in their caring role through a range of free statewide services, and we advocate for Carers’ rights to improve the health, wellbeing and resilience of Carers, and to ensure caring is a responsibility shared by family, community and government.
We have a team of more than 100 people working across metropolitan, regional and remote South Australia, in service delivery, advocacy, corporate and leadership roles. Carers SA values its dedicated and skilled employees and aims to create a flexible, supportive, family-friendly and Carer-friendly workplace.

Team Leader (Young Carer Services)
Lead a team making a real difference for Young Carers across South Australia.
As Team Leader (Young Carer Services), you’ll lead and support a statewide team delivering strengths-based services to Young Carers aged 5–26. You’ll coach and mentor staff, guide responses to complex situations, and strengthen partnerships and service delivery to achieve positive outcomes for Young Carers.
This is a full-time maternity leave contract until 30 June 2027 and a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role within Young Carer Services.
Manager Quality & Compliance
Lead quality, governance and continuous improvement across Carers SA.
As Manager Quality & Compliance, you’ll shape our governance framework, strengthen quality and risk systems, and work with leaders across the organisation to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality services for Carers.
