What happens next?
We know that asking for help can sometimes feel difficult, especially when you are caring for a family member or friend. That’s why we take the time to get to know your situation and understand what support may be most helpful to you.
As part of this, we will have a confidential Carers Star™ conversation with you. This helps us talk about your strengths, any challenges you may be experiencing, and the goals that matter to you. We may also talk about things like your health and wellbeing, your caring role, how things are going at home, whether you are able to make time for yourself, how you are feeling, your finances, work, and your social connection.
Once this conversation is complete, our team will work with you to develop an action plan and connect you with supports that may assist you.
